which gender is stronger? woman or man?

Many people believe that the ancient society was generally paternalistic where men who are physically stronger reigned however the history says that society was actually maternalistic. Authority then was with the woman. That time people provided their needs in the hunting. Women were the ones who gave birth and made hunting tools such as net and spear. So role of woman were really important in the society. However when human started war with their enemy, women’s roles in the society became limited because getting into war required physical strength. 수렵 시대가was ended then agricultural society where physical strength was important in order to acquire economic power was began. Men who have more physical strength is more authority than women. Now human lives in high technology society, in this kind society, psychical strength is not no longer the sole basis for being strong. However men still have loud voices in the society. Is it fair to used physical strength as a standard for judging which gender is more powerful?

 

When first time men had more authority than women, the men then became afraid of loss their authorities so they started to oppress women’s talents through reducing social opportunities for women. Then culture absorbed it, it affected to people who lived and became new member. People made lots of positive traditional rule for men and limitations for women. Although men oppressed women’s talent, some women still excelled, for instance Queen of Egypt Cleopatra gave huge effect in the West. Someone says that “If Cleopatra’s nose had been a little lower, the history of the world might have been different.” Yang Qui Bi who was concubine of the King of China, had powerful authorities. The King of China really loved her, so she could do every thing whatever she wants in the China.

 

Nowadays traditional prejudices are deteriorating. Women showed their talents in many fields society no longer force women to say at home. Women are creative, sensitive and progressive. The men in the society break their stereotypes themselves, Society should give more social opportunities to women in order to show their talent for the better world. God was created not only man but also woman. God didn’t have any will that man is higher than woman. God want to that woman and man help each other, because human cannot live alone, human is social being.
